Lewis Hamilton gets his win in the Japanese Grand Prix with Nico Rosberg second
The Japanese Grand Prix ended in a triumph for Lewis Hamilton, scoring their eighth 1-2 finish with Nico Rosberg. Japan’s victory enabled Hamilton to increase his advantage over team mate Rosberg to 10 points. Hamilton now has 266 points to Rosberg’s 256 points. This also has moved Hamilton up to be the lead in the drivers’ championship standings. Mercedes is still leading in the Constructors' Championship with 522 points in total.
