Its very own 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, built in Cologne, Germany (Aston Martin acquired the factory from Ford, when the British car maker went independent) with belts out an impressive 715bhp and 900Nm of torque, and takes their halo GT car to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds.

The DBS Superleggera features purpose-built decorative kitting, which are functional… certainly something which would make Bond… James Bond really happy! Its hexagonal black metal grille, featuring discreet fins, which aids in stabilising airflow before it even enters the engine bay.

Additionally, the side louvre, roof and the latest Aeroblade II are built using carbon fibre materials. Aston Martin claims that it helps to reduce the weight and provides the aerodynamics and downforce the GT Car essentially needs.

An additional F1-inspired double-diffuser at the rear generates a whopping 180kg of downforce, and to leave an even lasting impression for bystanders, a beautiful exhaust note, all thanks to a set of active valves and quad tailpipes, delivers a rich and layered sound… “thick and creamy” you might say.

Sculpted body panels reflects the aggressive nature of the GT car, and under the skin, a lightweight–bonded aluminium chassis, similar to how aircraft fuselages are built, with forged double wishbones at the front and a sophisticated multi-link system at the rear, to ensure the best suspension setup possible.

Inside the 2+2 seater cabin, DBS offers up a luxurious experience, with a choice selection of Alcantara and aromatic and Caithness leather, for the best blend of ride comfort and sportiness.

To better reflect your personality, Aston Martin’s bespoke Q division offers up true customisation services. Ranging from special one-off paint coats and distinctly stylised interior finishing, and on a lateral scale, the brand has even also progressed onto lifestyle items like furniture. Exotic materials are just part of the allure, and buyers can also have the car’s panelling restyled to their liking, if they are willing to go further.

The importance of being unique and expressive are the differences made in this car. Enjoyment of the brand experience, Q customisation is available for the DBS Superleggera, to express the soulful story between the car and yourself.
