LA: Playmate Of The Year gets Jaguar F-type

Playboy Founder Hugh M. Hefner named Raquel Pomplun, 25, the magazine's 2013 Playmate of the Year during an exclusive cocktail luncheon today on the garden grounds of the iconic Playboy Mansion. Raquel, a 25-year-old Latina beauty from Chula Vista, California, is Playboy's first Mexican American Playmate of the Year.Raquel is featured on the cover of Playboy's June 2013 issue and inside the magazine in a stunning, 8-page pictorial by renowned fashion photographer Michael Bernard. Along with her title, Raquel will receive $100,000 in prize money and a one-year lease on a 2014 Jaguar F-TYPE, the newest addition to the Jaguar line up. The all-new 2014 Jaguar F-TYPE convertible sports car is the first new two-seater sports car from the brand since the iconic E-Type was launched over 50 years ago, and is on sale this month in showrooms across the US.

The Latina stunner first appeared on the cover of Playboy's April 2012 Sex & Music issue alongside Grammy-award winning musician Bruno Mars, and was featured inside as the magazine's April 2012 Playmate of the Month. Raquel studied biochemistry at Southwestern College, and is classically trained in ballet. She currently hosts Blackbelt TV's Rockin' Rounds, and is also the cohost of Playboy Radio's Playmates Present.
