KIA Cerato Gets A New Look And Flexes New Brand Logo

Cycle & Carriage Singapore, launches the refreshed KIA Cerato, together with the brand’s new logo and brand purpose. KIA’s new logo loses its surround and sports an unbroken bold line forming the brand name; a design that symbolises inspiration and confidence. The facelifted Cerato sports a re-faced front end, with a sharper, more extroverted version of the brand’s signature Tiger Nose grille. The Cerato also sports sleeker LED headlights, while the rear still retains its interestingly-arranged bumper-mounted turn indicators.

Three variants are available, the base ‘L’ model, which comes equipped with reverse camera and parking sensors; and will appeal to those who are more budget conscious. The ‘EX’ variant, which is the middle-of the pack car, receives most of the bells and whistles, which includes new features like Smart Cruise Control, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW), Safe Exit Warning for rear passengers, and a 10.25” touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The GT Line, which is the range-topping Cerato here, adds on to the EX, with a body kit that includes a boot lid spoiler, red accents on the front grille and a rim upgrade to 17”. It also gets the all-important ventilated front seat feature, which contributes to added driving comfort.

The refreshed KIA Cerato is powered by their proven NA 1.6 litre Gamma engine, delivering 128ps, and 155Nm. It also retains the 6-speed automatic. The Cerato is available in 9 colours, including a new addition - Mineral Blue.

With a neutral VES ‘B’ rating, the KIA Cerato starts at $87,999 for the base ‘L’ model. The ‘EX’ which we believe will be the most popular, retails at $97,999, while the range-topping GT, goes for $103,999.
