Tell me more about these Singapore variants of Hyundai IONIQ 6

Local production of the IONIQ 6 at HMGICS offers Singapore customers four trim options: Inspiration (77kWh, Cat B), Prestige (77kWh, Cat B), Prestige (53kWh, Cat A) and Exclusive (53kWh, Cat A). The long-range Prestige (77kWh) 2WD model provides up to 614km range (WLTP), compared to 519km for the AWD version. Unique to the Singapore-made IONIQ 6, enhanced connectivity features include Bluelink with Connected Car Services and OTA software updates, online voice recognition and wireless updates for maps and infotainment.

Has Hyundai cracked the EV code in Singapore?

It’s still anyone’s guess, but signs are positive. The locally made IONIQ 6 highlights Hyundai's commitment to contributing to green mobility in Singapore. HMGICS, the country's first smart EV production facility, offers flexible production for models like the IONIQ 5 and 6. AI, Robotics and Digital Twin enable a data-driven, intelligent production process that interacts with customers and ensures high-quality products.

What charging solutions have Hyundai “localised” for the Singapore market?

Updated charging options will be available for the locally produced IONIQ 6. For home charging at private estates, Hyundai and Schneider Electric will offer a new home charger with an extended cable length and a three-year warranty, ensuring easy access to charging regardless of the parking position.

Mobile charging provider P.UP is partnering with Hyundai to offer five monthly charges for up to 12 months and a complimentary 12-month emergency rescue service. This service includes emergency charging, 12V battery replacement and towing up to twice a year.
