Hyundai Motor Extends Warranties In Response To COVID-19

In response to the extraordinary times we live in, Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) extends its warranties to over 1 million vehicles worldwide.  The C A R E programme, which is factory-led in Singapore, together with local distributor, Komoco Motors Pte Ltd, is intended to put owners’ minds at ease. This extension will be to the benefit of owners, who have warranties that expire between 1 March and 30 April, 2020, by extending it till 31 May 2020. Globally, more than 1.21 million Hyundai vehicles in 175 countries will be eligible for the Hyundai C A R E warranty extension.

“We regret that we have to reschedule servicing appointments for many of our customers amidst stricter COVID-19 measures in Singapore,” said Mr Kwek Keng Poh, Aftersales Director, Komoco Motors Pte Ltd. “With Hyundai C A R E, we wish to set their minds at ease regarding eligibility for warranty repairs and related services in the coming months. Not only do we care about our customers’ health and safety, we care about the ‘health’ and safety of their vehicles as well.”

Komoco Motors will contact all affected customers separately by email in the coming days, with more details about the Hyundai C A R E programme.
