HMGICS Donates IONIQ 5 to SIT To Advance EV Education And Research
The first made-in-Singapore EV will serve as a practical learning tool for students and faculty.

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) has delivered an IONIQ 5 EV to the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) after signing a Memorandum of Understanding.

The made-in-Singapore IONIQ 5 will serve as a practical learning tool at SIT, supporting research and coursework in EV technology. Integrated into academic programs and Continuing Education and Training (CET), it will provide students with hands-on experience in V2G technologies, diagnostics, energy storage, power electronics and EV charging infrastructure.
The partnership offers industry attachments at HMGICS for SIT students and faculty, technical expertise exchange and CET course development for HMGICS staff.
