Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) has appointed Ms. Min Ling Chan as Vice President, Head of the Technology Innovation Group (TIG). As Hyundai’s first global open innovation hub, HMGICS drives future mobility innovation through advanced technologies. This strategic move reinforces its commitment to shaping the future mobility value chain and strengthening its leadership in the industry.
Ms. Chan will lead digital transformation efforts, focusing on advanced technologies, automation and intelligent systems to enhance the mobility value chain. With over 20 years of experience in large-scale transformations across Asia Pacific, Europe, and Australia - including a key role at Ford Motor Company Asia Pacific - she brings deep expertise in digital transformation and process optimization.
Working alongside Chief Innovation Officer Dr. Alpesh Patel and HMGICS teams, she will drive the future vision.
Ms. Chan has extensive experience in digital transformation, having led initiatives at Mondelēz and driven Industry 4.0 advancements at Schaeffler, focusing on automation, cybersecurity, IIoT and data governance. A strong advocate for diversity in engineering, she believes Hyundai’s technological strength and skilled workforce are key to its success.
