Good News COE Prices Down Slightly. Bad News Pump Prices Increase

COE prices take a slight dip in February's second COE bidding exercise. Certificates for the price sensitive Category A have taken a small dip of about $1,000. In other news, pump prices have gone up, with premium grade petrol increasing as much as $0.79 per litre, while regular RON fuel sees an increase of up to $0.66. Quota of 903 @ $41,001 down from $42,000,

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),

Quota of 942 @ $46,002, down from $46,790,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, or have more than 130bhp),

Quota of 276 @ $40,890, down from $45,001,

Commercial Vehicle Category C,

Quota of 572 @ $7,500, down from $7,506,

Motorcycle Category D,


Quota of 300 @ $47,506, down from $49,778,

Open Category E (All but motorcycles),

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank. Do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
