GBR: Aston to find new plant to produce DBX crossover
Aston Martin’s manufacturing facility in Gaydon has been rumoured to be running at close to max capacity, and they may run into problems trying to add a new model to the line-up. The British firm has plans to carry on and manufacture the DBX though, which basically means they need to find another plant to manufacturer said vehicle. Company reps are reportedly considering a number of options, which include building an all new plant in a Southern state in the United States. Whilst building an all new plant may be costly, tax breaks and incentives may it financially viable. Another option would be to take over the former Jaguar plant in Coventry. That said, it will be some time before Aston could actually put the DBX into production though. 4 proper doors and and an internal-combustion engine will have to fitted in place of the futuristic bits on the concept car.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
