Lexus Singapore has revealed the all-new Lexus LM for the first time in Singapore at the Lexus Boutique. Crafted to cater to preferences of the elite, it allows drivers and passengers to indulge in an exquisite ride experience where passengers can enjoy unparalleled relaxation. We reckon that your perspective of lux-limos will change (even those who are already pampered by long wheelbase large luxury sedans) once you’ve sampled a vehicle of this stature.

What inspired the creation of the Lexus LM?

While creating the LM concept, Lexus drew inspiration from the realm of private jets and the wishes of very wealthy customers. These insights revealed a desire among contemporary, busy professionals for a space that promotes revitalisation, both physically and mentally. With this vision in mind, Lexus designed the LM to provide occupants with a tranquil sanctuary - a place where they can relax from the hassles of life's fast-paced demands.

Who is the Lexus LM for?

After gaining popularity in various Asian markets, this model is now making its first appearance in Singapore. It has been designed to blend luxury, tranquility and comfort seamlessly, catering specifically to a new and unique customer group, with a strong emphasis on serving the very wealthy.

It looks stunning…

The LM represents the next-generation of Lexus design with its well-proportioned and sophisticated appearance. The front grille is an updated version of the iconic Lexus Spindle Grille, seamlessly integrated into the body with matching exterior color, creating a harmonious and dynamic look. Chrome accents on the central pillar enhance the vehicle's side view and convey its premium quality.

But it’s all about that interior…

The LM offers numerous amenities for rear-seat passengers to indulge in. "Rear Climate Concierge" serves as a comprehensive control system to manage the cabin's environment. This includes functions like air conditioning, sunshade adjustments, ambient lighting and seat positioning. Passengers can choose their preferred settings to match their mood or purpose.

In-car entertainment is spot on, too.

There’s access to connectivity and entertainment through a 14-inch ceiling-mounted rear multimedia display. This screen can be operated separately from the front console. There's a custom Mark Levinson Reference 3D Surround Sound System with 21 speakers too.

But we’re all here for the science behind the seats!

The LM prioritises passenger comfort by addressing body posture and minimising head movement to prevent discomfort and motion sickness. Front seats are designed to evenly distribute pressure, ensuring comfort and reducing fatigue during turns. Second-row seats incorporate shock-absorbing materials for gentle support from a standstill to motion. In the third row, generously cushioned seat backs and cushions promote a relaxed posture for all occupants, and this row can be folded to create extra space when necessary.
