Ferrari GTC4Lusso promises to be the most useable Ferrari yet

Ferrari announces the GTC4Lusso, a new four-seater which comes with some serious firsts for the brand. While the FF has already seen success since its inception, the GTC4Lusso with its rear-wheel steering with four-wheel drive sets a new benchmark for Ferrari in this segment. Designed to be a Ferrari for anywhere, anytime driving, this is the car Ferrari claims will be for those who demand performance without sacrificing comfort or luxury. The GTC4Lusso’s name comes from its ancestry including the 330 GTC and the 330 GT (the 2+2 sister model and an Enzo Ferrari favourite) and the 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso. The number 4 of course, refers to the seating capacity.

Powered by Ferrari's 6.3l V12, the GTC4Lusso makes 680 bhp at a screaming 8,000 rpm. Peak torque comes in at 5,750 rpm with 697 Nm on tap of which 80% can be had from just 1,750 rpm much like a turbocharged offering. Of course Ferrari also guarantees there will be an awesome noise that comes as standard.

The real party trick is the aforementioned Ferrari-patented 4RM Evo four wheel drive system with intergrated rear wheel steering. This is now 4RM-S (obviously) and together with Ferrari's SSC 4.0 and E-Diff as well as SCM-E damper control the car is designed to be able to tackle anything from a track day to snow covered alps.

Packaged with aerodynamic styling on the outside and the new Dual Cockpit on the inside which entertains your passenger whilst they try to keep their trousers clean on a track day, the GTC4Lusso delivers Ferrari's high quality and luxurious build to the customer who wants a car that will be even more useable than the FF.
