The onslaught of SUV launches continue in Singapore, this time featuring a turbocharged hybrid from Kia that can house 7 in comfort. The Sorento Hybrid, now in its 4th generation, receives more than a mere nip and tuck.

More than 1,300km per tank

The Sorento Hybrid's appeal lies in its ability to travel over 1,300km on a single tank, made possible by its advanced hybrid technology. Powered by Kia's Smartstream II 1.6 Turbo Hybrid, it combines efficient hybrid systems with modern combustion tech to offer an eco-friendly driving experience without compromising performance.

One-of-a-kind DRLs

Its “Bold for Nature" theme is expressed through its design. Its sculpted bonnet sits just above a three-dimensional grille and unique Star-Map DRLs.

Storage champion

This 7-seater SUV offers ample room for passengers, including air-con vents in the second and third rows. The boot space ranges from 179 litres with all seats up to 1,996 litres with the second and third rows folded flat.

Dual 12.3-inch screens

The Sorento Hybrid features a dual-screen display that integrates a 12.3-inch digital driver cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Its Infotainment/Climate Switchable Controller allows seamless switching between managing the infotainment and climate settings.

212bhp, 366Nm of torque

Its 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid powertrain blends a fuel-efficient petrol engine and a 1.49 kWh battery that powers the 47.7 kW electric motor. It delivers 158kW (212bhp) and 366Nm, good for a 0 to 100 km/h timing of 9.3 seconds. Fuel consumption is rated at 19.6km/l and it has a 67-litre fuel tank.

2 trim levels for Singapore market

SX and SX Tech Pack will be offered. The SX trim includes 17-inch alloy wheels, LED front 3-cell projection lamps, pull-up rear sunshades, premium leather seats with 8-way power adjustment and ventilated and heated front seats with lumbar support.

The SX Tech Pack includes LED front 4-cube projection lamps with sequential turn signals, a 10-inch digital head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, ambient mood lighting and a 12-speaker Bose system.
