F1: Webber confident of good result in Singapore

With 2 podiums under his belt at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, Red Bull’s Mark Webber is confident of a good result this weekend. He believes that he has prepared well for the challenging weekend ahead, through physical trainings and lots of simulator work. That, coupled with a dominant RB9, would lead one into thinking that a podium would be extremely easy to achieve. However, with the likes of Ferrari, Mercedes and Lotus hot on the heels of the Milton Keynes-based outfit, it will be a tough fight for the podium places. The opposition is not the only thing on the Australian’s mind; the tyres are too. With new parts and constant track evolution, the drivers would really have to go all out to understand how the new supersofts will react on the track. That said, Webber is confident he can finish ahead for the pack and he looks forward to ‘drinking the champaigne on Sunday night’. Pictures used for illustration only.
