F1: Two fifths of attendees at Singapore Grand Prix foreign

Up to 40 percent of those that will watch the Singapore Grand Prix live will be foreigners. The figure has been roughly the same for the past 5 years, with the most at 41.7% during the 1st ever Formula 1 night race. 40.9% of last year’s tickets went to foreigners, majority of which came from Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, Malaysia, the Philippines, Britain, America and Taiwan.  With the first session just 2 days away, about 98% of the tickets have been sold, with the rest set to be sold out over the course of the coming days.Pictures for illustration only.
