EuroSports Global Paves The Way For Local Racing Talent With Sponsorship Support

Singapore, 8 January 2018 – EuroSports Global, the authorised dealer for Lamborghini and Alfa Romeo in Singapore, today announced their sponsorship support for a young local racing talent in the motorsport industry. The signing of the sponsorship contract with 14-year-old, Aidan Quek Chieh Wei from Singapore, took place at their brand-new showroom located at 24 Leng Kee Road.

The sponsorship is worth SGD 60,000, and will end on 31 December 2019. Through this sponsorship, EuroSports Global aims to support and encourage the young budding racing talent in his pursuit of competitive kart racing.

Mr Melvin Goh, Managing Director of EuroSports Global said, “We are excited to support Aidan through his journey of racing, and we hope that his future achievements will put Singapore on the world map of motorsports racing. EuroSports Global believes in a young talent like Aidan because of his strong potential and skills. He displays great fighting spirit in his character, and he is passionate about and dedicated to racing. With our support, we hope to encourage and propel Aidan to soar to greater heights.”

From 1 January to 31 December 2018, Aidan will take part in 15 races for the junior category (12 to 15 years old) across Italy and the rest of Europe. He is currently coached under Salvatore Gatto and his crew at Gamoto Kart Italy, the official CRG kart racing team that nurtured current and past Formula One drivers like Max Verstappen, Nico Rosberg, Nico Hulkenberg and other motor racing champions.
