Enter the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and AMG C 43 4MATIC

Mercedes-Benz is not going to let go of 2016 without introducing its two latest models - the GLC Coupe and the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC - to the automobile world. Whilst both genres are hugely distinctive, each with their own audience and driving hallmarks, the two luxurious models bear a shared trait. They are some of Mercedes-Benz's most impressive line-up, with vivid characteristics of dynamism, sportiness and performance. GLC Coupe More like an oversized hatchback, the GLC Coupe makes an impressive footprint in every street it turns into, thanks to its visual interplay of a perfectly-mixed Coupe-SUV look and ever-stylish design. Daimler AG Head of Design Gordon Wagener said: "The GLC Coupe reflects our iconic Mercedes-Benz coupe design whilst symbolising the bipolarity of our brand - it is 'hot and cold'. With its design idiom of sensual purity, it perfectly embodies our styling philosophy while at the same time representing contemporary luxury." Configured with a 241-horsepower turbo four engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission, the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive GLC Coupe promises the delivery of a exhilarating yet silky-smooth ride for every journey. Fronted by a characteristically coupe-esque, single-louvred diamond radiator grille, the interior of the GLC Coupe embodies the same philosophy as its exterior. Spaciousness is the hallmark of the GLC Coupe's cabin. Infotainment comes in the form of a centralised, one-piece console and a semi-integrative media display. According to the specifications, the GLC Coupe can dial 100 kilometres per hour from halt in 7.3 seconds. Yet, the GLC Coupe is as safe as it is fast. Designed with a high-strength safety passenger compartment, the car is protected with specific deformation zones, which deflect impacts away from the occupants. Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC The AMG badge that is affixed on the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC is often the biggest draw of the sports performance automobile. And this model, like all other AMG variants, walks it like it talks about it. With a three-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that is mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission system, the performance of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC remains as its hallmark characteristic. The 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system that is classically familiar in a number of upmarket AMG models can also be found in the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC. Configured to deliver 33% of the engine power to the front axle and 67% to the rear axle, tests carried out by Mercedes-Benz showed that such rear-biased torque split actually creates higher agility around the car's vertical axis. AMG lovers will be happy to note that the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC is not all about performance driving. It has several driving modes - Sport, Sport Plus, Eco and Comfort - to choose from. 'Sport' and 'Sport Plus' suit Drivers who wants a sporty and dynamic steering feel. 'Eco' and 'Comfort' gel with those who prefer a more steadfast and comfortable steering feel. The outlook of the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC remains impressively agressive. With dominating design elements like its sporty air intakes, diamond meshes, silver chrome trim, light alloy wheels and the special AMG badge on its front wings, the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC is a visual fascination.
