Electric MG Cyberster Roadster And M9 MPV Set A New Tone For The Brand

Eurokars Group, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Morris Garages (MG), presented a showcase at the Singapore Motorshow 2024 over the weekend with two EVs. The MG Cyberster and M9 might look poles apart, but that’s the point - it sets the tone for MG to start fist fights in every category imaginable.

The star of the showcase, the all-new MG Cyberster, pays homage to MG's iconic history while embracing an exciting future. Featuring a futuristic design that echoes the spirit of classic MG models like the MG B GT and the MG Midget, this electric sports car stands as a testament to the brand’s evolution. Built on the brand’s Modular Scalable Platform, the Cyberster boasts a driver-centric layout and three digital infotainment displays, offering seamless vehicle control.

With 536hp generated by dual electric motors, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The Cyberster's sleek silhouette, complemented by an electric roof opening in 10 seconds, captures attention - but its fully automatic scissor doors steal the spotlight.

Accompanying the Cyberster is the MG M9 EV, an all-electric MPV. The vehicle’s interior is headlined by plush all-leather seats that rival top-tier business class comfort. Passengers enjoy control over windows and seats via touchscreens, a panoramic roof, hidden tray tables, ventilated seats and an 8-setting massage function.
