Premium Automobiles has announced the debut of DEEPAL, Changan Automobile's premium EVe brand, at Singapore Motorshow 2025. This launch marks Changan's entry into the Singapore market, just moments before it opens a new showroom later this month.

“Today marks a pivotal chapter for DEEPAL as we bring our vision for premium electric mobility to Singapore, together with Premium Automobiles,” said Mr Shen Xing Hua, President of Changan Auto Southeast Asia. “As we expand our presence in Southeast Asia, we are confident that this collaboration will enable us to deliver an unparalleled experience that combines cutting-edge technology, intelligent design, and sustainability for Singaporean drivers.”

“Premium Automobiles is delighted to introduce DEEPAL to Singapore at the Singapore Motorshow 2025. Backed by decades of expertise from Changan Automobile, DEEPALshares our vision of redefining mobility through intelligent design and sustainable innovation”, shares Mr. Hadi Widjaja Tanaga, President, Premium Automobiles Group. “The S07 embodies this ethos, representing a commitment to empowering drivers with advanced technology and eco-conscious solutions. We look forward to supporting the nation’s journey towards sustainable mobility.”

2,900mm wheelbase

A mid-size SUV it might be, but its EV-specific platform allows engineers and designers to stretch the wheelbase (2,900mm) to optimise cabin space. That places it extremely close the G05 BMW X5 in comparison (2,972mm). Designed for eco-conscious drivers, it features sleek frameless doors, a yacht-inspired interior and an aerodynamic body that achieves a wind resistance coefficient of 0.258Cd. (A 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC’s Cd is 0.29).

S07 comes in 6 colours

Comet White, Lunar Grey, Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, Cosmic Yellow (pictured) and Sunset Orange - the first three we reckon are safer choices, while the rest are striking to say the very least!

20% to 80% DC charging in 35 minutes

Driving range is claimed at 475km, and it supports DC fast charging from 20% to 80% in 35 minutes. A 218hp motor helps it sprint to 100km/h in 7.9 seconds.

Headrest-integrated audio on driver’s seat

A 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen is powered by the Qualcomm 8155 chip. There’s also an augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD) and an intelligent voice assistant. Scenario-based cockpit modes like Snow, Rest, and Camping enhance versatility. Luxury touches include headrest-integrated audio, a yacht-inspired floating centre console, a 14-speaker Sony sound system and active noise cancellation.
