COEs Up Across The Board for Second Bidding Exercise in July.

COEs increase across the board during July's second bidding exercise.

A total of 7,385 bids were received at the end of the July bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs). Of these, 4,916 were successful.

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp) saw a 1.3% increase to end at $53,000.

Catagory B (cars above 1,600cc) saw an increase of 2.5% ending at $57,508.

The commercial vehicle Catagory C increased by 4.8%, ending at $49,890.

A small increase for motocycle certificates saw an upward shift of 2.7% to increase by $290, and currently is at $6,302.

The biggest increase came from the Open Catagory with a 2.7% increase of $1,499, currently at $57,501.

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility of UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
