COEs Stable for April’s Second COE Bidding Exercise. Category A Up.

COEs for April’s second Certificate of Entitlement bidding exercise ended stable. Category A COEs closed about $1,500 higher. This month saw 4,334 successful bids received during the month’s first bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs).

Quota of 1,566 @ $38,510, up from $37,000,

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),


Quota of 1,417 @ $37,330, down from $37,605,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),


Quota of 260 @ $34,202, up from $34,001,

Commercial vehicle Category C,

Quota of 518 @ $7,115, up from $7,114,

Motorcycle Category D,

Quota of 573 @ $38,389, up from $38,039,

Open Category E (All but motorcycles),

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank, do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
