COEs go up for A, B and Open Categories in March's Second Bidding Exercise

This month saw 4,471 successful bids out of a total of 6,529 received during the month’s second bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs).

Quota of 2,096 @ $51,765, up from $50,789,

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),


Quota of 1,357 @ $54,000, up from $53,300,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),


Quota of 164 @ $47,036, down from $49,002,

Commercial vehicle Category C,


Quota of 355 @ $8,081, up from $7,483,

Motorcycle Category D,


Quota of 499 @ $54,501, up from $51,000,

Open Category E,

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility of UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
