COE Prices Close Mixed At End Of Dec 22 Bidding Exercise

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums ended mixed latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (December 22), with Category A prices up by 3.14 per cent, to its highest in six years.

Category A and B COE, Motorcycle premiums end higher

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp increased by 3.14 per cent from S$57,010 and closed at $58,801 at the last tender on December 8.

Premiums for large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) also end higher in the latest tender, from $80,401 in the previous bidding exercise to $80,989.

In the motorcycle category, premiums also went up to S$9,601 from S$9,401 previously.

COE for Category C & E down

Meanwhile, COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, go down by 2.22 per cent to S$44,000.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums also eased by 1.31 per cent to S$83,889.
