COE Premiums Rise In 4 Out Of 5 Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of April 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher in 4 out of 5 categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (6 April).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at $72,996, an increase of S$1,440.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$98,389, a decrease of S$500 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$3,397 to S$54,901.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$2, to S$10,503.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums also climbed by S$989, up to S$99,999.
