COE premiums rise again across all five categories in first bidding exercise of March 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher once again across all five categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (9 March).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at $68,501, an increase of S$5,501.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) also ended higher at S$94,889, an increase of S$1,299 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$2,388 to S$48,889.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$811, to S$11,400.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums also climbed by S$5,788, up to S$98,890.
