COE Premiums Rise Across All Categories In First COE Bidding Exercise of October 2024
Cat A rises to S$103,799, while Cat B and E register near identical figures at S$116,002 and S$116,000 respectively.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$103,799, an increase of S$5,275 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$116,002, an increase of S$6,001 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$1,009 to S$75,009.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$101, to S$10,001.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$2,896, to S$116,000.
