COE Premiums Increase In 4 Out Of 5 Categories In Second Bidding Exercise Of March 2022
Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher in 4 out of 5 categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (23 March).
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at $71,556, an increase of S$3,055.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) also ended higher at S$98,889, an increase of S$4,000 from the previous tender.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$2,615 to S$51,504.
In the motorcycle category, premiums went down by S$899, to S$10,501.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums also climbed by S$120, up to S$99,010.
