COE Premiums Fall In All 5 Categories In Second Bidding Exercise Of April 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed lower in all categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (20 April).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at $68,699, a decrease of S$4,297.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$90,002, a decrease of S$8,387 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$2,899 to S$52,002.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down by S$702, to S$9,801.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$4,198, to S$95,801.
