COE Premiums End Mixed In Second COE Bidding Exercise of May 2024
Cat B and E COEs maintained at the S$105k mark, while Cat A dropped slightly to 92 grand.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$92,700, a decrease of S$904 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$105,689, an increase of S$687 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$2,000 to S$72,001.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$192, to S$9,311.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$313, to S$105,002.
