Cat A COE Breach $100k For The First Time In Second Bidding Exercise Of April 2023

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums increased in 4 out of 5 categories in the second bidding exercise of April 2023 (19 April).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$103,721, an increase of S$7,220 from the previous tender.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$120,889, an increase of S$2,388 from the previous result.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$1,467 to S$75,334.

In the motorcycle category, the premium increased by S$178, to S$12,179.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$5,511, to S$124,501.
