This afternoon saw 4,089 successful bids out of a total of 5,452 received during the year’s first bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs).

Quota of 1,877 @ 50,101, up from $49,751

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),


Quota of 1,252 @ $53,106, up from $51,109

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),


Quota of 183 @ $46,302, down from $49,500

The Commercial Vehicle Category C,


Quota of 438 @ $6,053, down from $6,101

Motorcycle Category D,


Quota of 401 @ $50,001, down from $50,389

Open Category E,

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility of UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
