Customers can choose their Hyundai of choice and finalise their purchase decision through transactions made online. Aiding their buying experience, Hyundai Click & Drive features a live chat, with their sales personnel on hand to help walk buyers through the sales process, or to answer any enquiries, be it product or financial.

Singapore is the first country in the world to adopt Hyundai’s selling channel, with Australia the next country on their list.

When asked “Why Singapore?”, Yong Suk Lee, Hyundai’s Head of Asia & Pacific Regional Headquarters Director, mentioned that Singapore was seen as an ideal test bed for proof of product, before rolling out to the rest of their markets. He also felt the city state was a market ready to accept the concept of buying online, and the implementation of supporting services, like arranging for test drives are also easier, due to the size of the country.

The web-based platform would mean that buyers of new Hyundai cars would not need to head to the showroom, and are able to spec and buy their car from the comfort of their home. Test drives can also be arranged at their convenience. Loans, with choice of financial institution are clearly stated within the platform, together with calculated pricing for buyer clarity.

Customers will also receive exclusive exclusive deals if they make a purchase using the platform

Click & Drive will officially go live on 9 November 12pm. The online platform is fully operational on all days, and is not available for booking on Certificate of Entitlement (COE) bidding days from 12pm to next working day 12pm
