Borneo Motors Singapore enters partnership to provide 'Total-Care Service' for GrabRentals' fleet
Borneo Motors Singapore (BMS) has extended its partnership with GrabRentals, the vehicle rental arm of Grab Singapore, to provide exclusive ‘Total-Care Service’ for GrabRentals’ Toyota fleet from 2022.
This collaboration sees BMS partnering with GrabRentals to collect telematics data, which is then sent to a system based in BMS that triggers warning alerts on potential dangerous scenarios.
Together with Toyota Motors Asia Pacific (TMAP), BMS and GrabRentals commemorated this strategic partnership by extending the contract for an additional three years offering ‘Total-Care Service’ to fleet drivers.
Through this partnership, BMS monitors and maintains the GrabRentals fleet’s performance, providing preventive maintenance and on-time car delivery. Besides monitoring the vehicle’s performance remotely, the technology also provides pre-emptive capability to ensure that the Grab fleet is travelling on the road safely.
BMS, the authorised distributor for Toyota in Singapore, will continue to provide its ‘Total-Care Service’ exclusively to GrabRentals, a smart information platform comprising fleet management, automotive insurance and vehicle maintenance, to GrabRentals’ Toyota fleet.
Khee Siong Ng, Director of Aftersales, Inchcape Singapore shared, “For decades, BMS has been dedicated to bringing mobility to the world’s communities in a safe and reliable manner. This partnership with GrabRentals came very naturally to us as it is a reflection of our mission. Since 2018, we have scaled the initiative to include fleet vehicles, as well as to retail customers. We will continue to work closely with Grab to better protect the safety of riders and passengers.”
