BMW Motorrad offers its full range in Indonesia, including the top-selling BMW R 1200 GS Adventure, the captivating BMW R nine T, as well as the recently launched BMW R 1200 R.

The BMW R 1200 GS Adventure.

The new R 1200 GS Adventure continues in this same tradition, building on the dynamic performance characteristics and excellent off-road and touring capabilities of the R 1200 GS to provide the new, ultimate solution for globetrotters, travel enduro aficionados and touring riders with a passion for off-road action. The new R 1200 GS Adventure is powered by the same spirited air/liquid-cooled boxer engine featured on the R 1200 GS, with a displacement of 1,170 cc and an output of 125 hp at 7,750 rpm. The stand-out feature of the power unit is the new precision cooling system which uses water instead of oil as a cooling agent. Also new is the engine’s through-flow, which is now vertical for even more efficient power output, as well as the six-speed gearbox that is integrated into the engine housing along with the wet clutch.

BMW R nine T.

The BMW R nine T, which has been created to mark “90 years of BMW Motorrad”, radiates purism and power in undisguised form. It skillfully blends the boxer engine’s rugged character and the design traits of various motorcycle eras with cutting-edge technology and a modular concept that offers the rider maximum scope for personalization. Like the first ever BMW motorcycle from 1923 – the legendary BMW R 32 – the new BMW R nine T is driven by the classic flat twin boxer engine with its punchy response from standstill. This construction principle has been synonymous with unmistakable design, abundant torque delivery and inimitable acoustics for 90 years now. The R nine T employs the 1,170 cc air/oil-cooled boxer unit. It produces 110 hp at 7,750 rpm and musters up a maximum torque of 119 Nm at 6,000 rpm.

BMW R 1200 R.

The flat-twin boxer engine on the new R 1200 R produces 125 hp at 7,750 rpm and develops its peak torque of 125 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Compared to the engine on its predecessor, not only has torque been increased substantially throughout the rev range, but delivery is now more uniform too. The exhaust gases are routed through a 2-in-1 exhaust system with a dynamic-looking, steeply angled rear silencer. A modified airbox and newly shaped air intake snorkels, as well as a centrally positioned radiator, all lend themselves to the slender front silhouette to which all roadsters aspire.
