How much is the BMW 5 Series in Singapore?

A base-spec 520i costs S$385,888, while one kitted in M Sport trim will set you back S$393,888. A Launch Edition 520i is S$392,888. As for the i5, a “base” i5 eDrive40 costs S$417,888, while the M Sport version is S$428,888. You’ll have to fork out S$430,888 for the i5 eDrive40 Launch Edition.

The all-new BMW 5 Series Sedan is produced at the BMW Group Plant Dingolfing, where the electric motors and high-voltage batteries for the first-ever BMW i5 Sedan are also manufactured.

What is a BMW 5 Series Launch Edition?

In Singapore, customers have the option to buy a limited number of 20 units of the brand-new BMW 520i and BMW i5 eDrive40 in Launch Edition configuration. They feature Titanium Bronze accents on interior and exterior trims, kidney grille and 20-inch wheels.

What is the interior of a BMW 5 Series made of?

The all-new BMW 5 Series now comes with a standard vegan interior, including seat surfaces, dashboard, door panels and steering wheel (excluding M Sport models). There's also a Veganza option with leather-like qualities and decorative perforation for seats, as well as the choice of bicolour variants for BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery as optional features.

It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and has a top speed of 193 km/h - plenty fast for daily tarmac duties.

The BMW i5 Sedan has a space-efficient high-voltage battery under its chassis with 81.2 kWh of usable energy. It achieves an extended range thanks to efficient electric motors, adaptive recuperation, heat pump technology for interior climate control and high-voltage battery management. WLTP for the BMW i5 eDrive40 is between 497 and 582km., A “MAX RANGE” function is available, allowing up to a 25 percent increase in range by limiting power, speed and disabling comfort features when needed.

Can a BMW i5 eDrive40 charge fast?

The BMW i5 comes equipped with a Combined Charging Unit (CCU) that supports AC charging at up to 11 kW. It can also be charged using DC at up to 205 kW. This allows for a significant charge boost, taking the battery level from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 30 minutes.

What Operating System will the new BMW 5 Series run on?

The all-new BMW 5 Series Sean offers an enhanced user experience through its BMW Curved Display and "QuickSelect" control system, which is based on BMW Operating System 8.5. The system features a redesigned home screen with vertically arranged function icons. "QuickSelect" allows direct access to functions without navigating submenus, and the menu structure is designed for user convenience, resembling consumer electronics devices.
