Bangkok Welcomes Curvistan, A Cool New Playground For Porsche Lovers
This comes after Curvistan pop-up galleries in Munich and Singapore.
Curvistan Bangkok has opened its doors, and you can visit it along Sukhumvit 38 in central Bangkok. This new venue is designed as a bar, café, art gallery and social space celebrating car culture, art and design.
It is a joint effort between Stefan Bogner, creator of Curves magazine, and Chanond Ruangkritya, a Porsche enthusiast and entrepreneur. The venue will offer a unique experience for car lovers and Porsche fans, featuring contributions from both local and international curators.
Perfect location
Curvistan Bangkok is located just next to BTS Thonglor Skytrain station, and is poised to be a new hotspot for Porsche enthusiasts and design aficionados. The venue will serve as a gathering place for car fans to socialise, shop for driving essentials and enjoy a variety of events.
Curated by enthusiasts
Stefan Bogner, a photographer, designer and Porsche enthusiast known for his magazine 'Curves,' is behind Curvistan. His passion for capturing the driving experience inspired Chanond Ruangkritya, a Thai real estate CEO and Porsche fan, who had always wanted to create a Porsche clubhouse in Bangkok.
Growing the Porsche community
Curvistan Bangkok is backed by Porsche Thailand and Porsche Asia Pacific. Porsche recently introduced a regionally-assembled Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe with initial deliveries underway.
Porsche Thailand will manage a Porsche Lifestyle Boutique within Curvistan Bangkok and is opening three new dealerships in Bangkok. These efforts aim to expand the Porsche community in Thailand.
Local design and lifestyle partners
Curvistan Bangkok is enhanced by a network of distinguished local partners. Das Treffen, Asia Pacific's largest Porsche community, organises events with rare and limited edition Porsches and publishes a Porsche-focused magazine. Socrates Delicious Syrup Company, a key player in Bangkok's nightlife, is involved as well.
IMPACT Exhibition Management, which owns The Coffee Academïcs, oversees coffee offerings at Curvistan. VITRA, the Swiss company renowned for its iconic furniture, in collaboration with NORSE Republics, provides exclusive design pieces for the venue.
Rotating collections
The gallery at Curvistan Bangkok will showcase curated collections from the Porsche universe, changing every two to three months. The first exhibition, "Porsche: A Design Manifesto," explores the brand's design philosophy and its wide-ranging aesthetic, including sports cars, watches, sunglasses and skyscrapers.
Curvistan Bangkok welcomes visitors from around the world every day, with operating hours from 7am to midnight. The exhibition area is open from 7am to 6pm.
