Audi roaring to go in 2017 with new Audi models
Despite a successful year in 2016, Audi has continued to pull all the stops for 2017 with the unveiling of the all-new Audi Q2, Audi A5 Coupé, Audi R8 Spyder, as well as a range of models from the Audi A3 and Audi S3 line-up. Gearing up for competition with its adversaries, Audi's latest fleet of premium automobiles gives its customers a good glimpse of what is to come in the year of the Rooster. Mr Jeff Mannering, Managing Director of Audi Singapore, said: "2016 was a record year for Audi. Our goal in 2017 is to continue the momentum with some fantastic new models. The all-new Audi Q2 and A5 Coupé we present today are prime examples of what Audi is about – offering the best cars for the market. The Audi Q2 is an innovative premium compact SUV and the perfect car for a place like Singapore." (Mr Mannering posing for a picture with the Audi Q2) Starting with the all-new Audi Q2, this svelte-looking compact SUV has recently been conferred with the “Golden Steering Wheel 2016“, an award which is considered to be one of the most prestigious in the automotive industry. Already available at the Audi Centre Singapore at S$165,800 (including COE) and after CEVS, the all-new Audi Q2 1.4 TFSI COD features an innovative 1.4-litre TFSI engine that spews out 150-horsepower. Because of the all-new Audi Q2, Audi becomes the only car manufacturer to offer cylinder deactivation technology in 4-, 8-. 10- and 12-cylinder engines. (The Audi Q2) Next, on the Audi A5 Coupé, Audi has successfully showcased that this powerhouse not only bridged the future of automobiles, it is one that combines emotional design with sporty-handling characteristics and progressive technology. Under the skin, the A5 Coupé houses an all-new chassis, powerful engine, innovative infotainment features and driver assistance systems. It is significantly more efficient than its predecessor, thanks to the intelligent mix of materials and lightweight design. The Audi A5 Coupé 190hp 2.0 TFSI will be yours if you can part S$206,500 (including COE and after CEVS) from your savings account. The pinnacle of Audi Sport, without saying, goes to the Audi R8 Spyder. Specially flown in for the Singapore Motorshow 2017, the R8 convertible is a supercharged speed demon that tops the powerful performance of its predecessor with its 540-horsepower mid-mounted engine. Configured with variable torque distribution and fitted with a body that is exclusively made of carbon fibre and aluminium, the Audi R8 Spyder is not yet on sale. The Audi A3 range is worth every mention. The all-new Audi A3 Sportback and Audi A3 Sedan now come with more premium features, which include full LED headlamps, the optionally available Audi virtual cockpit and the MMI navigation plus with MMI touch. The Audi A3 series is now offered with a 1.0-litre TFSI engine variant, and it is also the first time that the Audi A3 range is available with a three-cylinder engine. At the top of the line is the Audi S3 which comes in Sportback and Sedan variants. Packed with a new seven-speed S-tronic transmission, the Audi S3 packs more power and torque. The Audi A3 series starts at S$133,200 while the S3 is priced from S$232,700. Prices are inclusive of COE and after CEVS. All new Audi cars in Singapore will be delivered with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty. Sweet huh?
