Aston Martin is bringing back its iconic Vanquish nameplate with the launch of its most powerful flagship model in the brand's 111-year history.
V12, no less!
Aston Martin is continuing its 25-year tradition of V12-engined flagships, featuring the brand's most powerful V12 engine to date. This engine delivers 835PS and 1000Nm, achieving the highest specific power output ever from an Aston Martin V12 at 160PS/litre. This nearly doubles the power and torque of the original V12 flagship from 1998.
Increased wheelbase
The chassis has been extended by 80mm in wheelbase, while also increasing torsional rigidity and lateral stiffness with a stiffer engine cross brace. This enhances the mounting stiffness for the new Bilstein DTX dampers.
Canyon carver, highway cruiser
Bilstein DTX damper technology enables a broader range of drive mode settings. This allows for greater refinement and control, with GT mode offering a smooth ride and improved agility, while Sport and Sport+ modes deliver increased responsiveness and tighter body control. This technology was first introduced on the DB12.
Standard carbon ceramic brakes
The 2024 Vanquish is equipped with a standard Carbon Ceramic Brake system, with 410mm front and 360mm rear discs. This system enhances braking performance, minimises brake fade at temperatures up to 800°C and reduces unsprung weight by 27kg compared to cast iron brakes.
Pirelli touch
21” forged alloy wheels paired with Pirelli P ZERO tyres come as standard. The new wheels are lighter than earlier 21” models, thanks to advanced simulation techniques that remove excess weight.
F1-inspired thermos louvres
Motorsport heritage is showcased here with features such as an F1-inspired sculpted bonnet with thermos louvres for engine cooling and a Kamm Tail to minimise drag. These design elements exemplify a seamless integration of style and technical performance.
Panoramic glass roof
The panoramic glass roof is a first for an Aston Martin V12. The roof is tinted to allow 6% light transmission and has a low-e coating to block UV-A and B rays, eliminating the need for a traditional blind while maintaining an airy feel.
Override switch for Exhaust
The central screen manages infotainment, climate and vehicle settings, complemented by tactile metal rotary dials and buttons for gear and drive selection, heating and ventilation. Override switches for key operations, including Chassis, ESP, Exhaust, Lane Assist and Park Distance Control, ensure intuitive control without distraction. The illuminated glass engine start/stop button, centrally positioned, adds a signature Aston Martin touch to the start-up experience.
