7-Seater BYD e6 EV MPV Launched In Singapore
It racks up 440km on a full charge from a 71.8kWh battery pack.
BYD Singapore and Sime Motors, through Vantage Automotive Limited (VAL), have launched the 7-Seater BYD e6, an electric MPV designed for families and urban commuters.
100kW / 250Nm
Its 71.8kWh battery pack is good for 100kW and 250Nm, returning a combined range of 440km. Top speed is rated at 160km/h and efficiency is tagged at 18.8kWh / 100km.
Full charge in 1.2 hours
A full charge with 90kW DC charging takes 1.2 hours. It also supports AC charging, up to 7kW.
Cargo capacity of up to 580 litres
Occupy all 7 seats in the e6 and you’ll get 180 litres of boot space, but fold down the second row seats to enjoy 580 litres worth of load-lugging ability. That’s decent for a MPV that measures not more than 4.7 metres in length. It even manages to stretch its wheelbase to 2,800mm.
500,000km battery warranty
