Lexus Singapore unveiled the second-generation Lexus LM 500h 4-Seater Ultra Luxury Variant at the Lexus VIP Preview Lounge in Singapore. This model sets a new standard in the luxury MPV segment, combining exceptional comfort, safety and advanced technology.

The LM 500h 4-Seater focuses on passenger well-being, embodying Lexus' Omotenashi hospitality. Its cabin is designed to make passengers feel at home and well-cared for, whether they wish to relax or work while traveling.

“The inspiration for the development of the new Lexus LM was the increasingly diverse lifestyles of customers in the luxury segment. This is where the development concept was born: creating a mobile space where customers can be their true selves. Our goal was to provide an environment that would allow busy individuals to relax in mind and body, free from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives-–a space to inspire positive thought and action." shares LM Chief Engineer, Takami Yokoo.

Tell me more about the Lexus LM 500h’s rear seats

The 4-seater Lexus LM 500h offers enhanced comfort with independent seating and an increased ottoman range compared to the LM 350h 7-seater. The seats were designed based on thorough analysis of passenger body movements to ensure a naturally relaxed state. A Warmth-Sensing IR Matrix Sensor in the rear monitors the temperature of passengers and key areas such as windows, trim and the ceiling. It adjusts the air-conditioning to maintain comfort for the face, chest, thighs and lower legs.

Is the 4-Seater Lexus LM 500h luxurious?

The Lexus LM 500h 4-Seater's interior is spacious and exudes elegance. Featuring leather upholstery and handcrafted wood trim, it creates an environment of pure relaxation.

What has been done to ensure the 4-Seater Lexus LM 500h rides well?

It features technology such as "AVS Suspension with Frequency-Sensitive Piston Valve," which combines an Adaptive Variable Suspension actuator with a frequency-sensitive piston valve in the shock absorber. This ensures a smooth ride by reducing vibrations across a wide range of frequencies, regardless of speed or road conditions. The exclusive 'Rear Comfort' drive mode prioritises rear-seat comfort by integrating control of the gas pedal and brake to reduce posture changes during acceleration and deceleration.

Is the 4-Seater Lexus LM 500h quiet?

Lexus has employed a three-step strategy for noise reduction: minimising generated noise such as road and wind noise, preventing external noise from entering through improved insulation, and reducing internal cabin noise through strategic placement of sound-absorbing materials. Specific measures included using acoustic glass to reduce high-frequency wind noise and tuning the engine and mounts to minimise vibrations.
