3 Gogoro Smartscooters Launched In Brand New Showroom

Cycle & Carriage and Gogoro Inc. has announced the opening of the Gogoro Singapore showroom at the Cycle & Carriage Electric Commercial Vehicle located at 330 Ubi Road.

3 Smartscooter models were presented – Gogoro SuperSport, Gogoro Premium and Gogoro Viva Mix.

Leader in battery swapping tech

Gogoro is the first company to offer two-wheeler battery swapping, providing an alternative to traditional electric charging. In Taiwan, it serves over 610,000 riders and manages 1.4 million smart batteries through a network of 12,500 swapping stations at more than 2,500 locations. Gogoro has expanded to over 50 cities worldwide and supports more than 55 vehicles from various manufacturer partners.

The company’s “batteries not included” model reduces vehicle costs and addresses concerns about range and charging time, aiding the mass adoption of electric scooters.

4 GoStations in Singapore (for a start)

Gogoro's battery swapping tech allows riders to swap batteries in seconds. Cycle & Carriage plans to install four Gogoro battery swapping GoStations in Singapore, with over 100 swappable smart batteries available by the first quarter of 2025.

More GoStations are expected to be added at Shell Service stations across the island. C&C has appointed SP Mobility as the Electric Vehicle Charging Operator to manage all GoStations in Singapore.

The Gogoro SuperSport offers a range of up to 170km and features the SSmartcore system for precise control and real-time power calibration. The Gogoro Premium, also with a range of 170km, delivers 6.4 kW and allows riders to switch between boost mode for higher speeds and smart mode for efficiency.

The Gogoro Viva Mix is a lightweight Smartscooter with a durable, scratch-resistant body made from 100% recyclable polypropylene. Range is rated at 150km, with a top speed of 88 km/h.
