Curb scuffs are the marks and scratches that your tires can get accumulate after years of use on the road. They don’t always affect the performance of your vehicle, but they are unsightly and can lower your car’s value on the open market. Removing the scuffs makes your vehicle appear damage free and can go a long ways to selling it for a fair value. Here is how you can clean curb scuffs from your vehicle without professional help.

1. First, you want to make sure that the scratches to your vehicle are only on the surface of the tire. You do this by running your fingers along the surface of the scratch. If the damage is deeper, you will want to take your tire to the car shop to prevent any leaks from occurring.

2. Next, you want to brush away and dirt or debris by using a rag, then wash the tire with soap and water.

3. Allow the tire to dry, then spray a coating such as ArmorAll Tire Foam onto the scratch.

4. Allow the coating to dry. The coating will mask scuffs and keep your tire looking in prime condition.
