What to do in the meantime and who to call for help?
If you cannot change your tire, or you don’t have the proper materials, here are a few things you can do:
- Call roadside assistance such as AA if you are a member. They specialize in changing tires and other roadside issues. Tel: 6748 9911
- Call your insurance company. Most insurance companies have roadside assistance divisions that help out motorists if they get into a jam.
- Call the LTA (1800-225 5582). If all else fails, the EMAS team can help you fix your vehicle. LTA wants to keep people off of the side of the road to ensure the safety of everyone on the expressway. In order to achieve this, they’ll help you replace your tire or provide you with the materials needed to do so.
