Besides these, visitors to the Autostadt can go on a tour of the enormous Volkswagen factory, or participate in the various driving courses available, such as the Safety and Economy trainings, and off-road driving on an all-terrain track using a Touareg or Tiguan. There is even a mini course with its own traffic lights and signs catering to children, so that they can learn about road safety by driving small electric Beetles around it.

Standing out amongst the other interesting attractions include the CarDesign Studio, where visitors can find out more about automobile design and even trying their hands at becoming a car designer themselves using the multimedia aids and devices available, and the permanent Level Green exhibition - made up of six different themed areas, with a total of 25 exhibits - which focuses on the topic of sustainability.

This topic of sustainability is continued at the nine restaurants located at the Autostadt, where the chefs work with the leading German association for organic agriculture and use only fresh organic ingredients from around the region to ensure the best possible gastronomic experience for the visitors.

For those who cannot get enough of the Autostadt, they can even check themselves in for a night's stay or two at the onsite 5-star Ritz Carlton hotel.

With the exception of Christmas' Eve and New Year's Eve, the Autostadt is open everyday from 9am to 6pm.
