Level 1

The main entrance opens straight onto the showroom floor, where all the current models are on display. Interactive touch screen panels displays all the specs and lets you choose colour options quickly and easily. Further in, we come across the Audio Room, where you can choose from a wide range of aftermarket components to upgrade your car’s audio system and get them all fitted in house.

Little touches like cosy sofas and other amenities make the back of the showroom a homely place to be in, and the theatrette is located here as well. The custom designed room will screen footage from WRC events and videos that explain the technology used in Subaru vehicles at regulated time slots throughout the day. This is no simple room with a video screen, but a properly designed theatre with tiered seating!

The back of the first level houses the STi corner, which is a room dedicated to authentic STi upgrades. For original upgrades, this is the place to be. Not just for the WRX STi, you can further hot rod your Legacy or Forester with STi parts too.

Level 2

The second level of the Subaru hub houses all the workshop facilities, and has a total of 70 work bays for fast and effective work. Everything from body work damage to wheel alignment problems can be sorted out here. The feel of the workshop is closer to that of an airplane hanger, being so large and expansive.

Level 3

The Subaru Hub is the first dealer workshop to carry its own dynamometer for dyno testing cars to check their power output. While members of the public are not allowed into the work bay, you can easily see the action from the viewing gallery which is right next to where they test the cars.

Level 4

All spare parts for the South East Asian region are stored here. Motorimage maintains the regional parts centre and ships them overseas when necessary.

Level 5

The Academy is housed here, where Subaru mechanics based throughout the region come for training. It seems that Motorimage is serious about giving the best service and have even set up a proper training facility.

Level 6

The multi-terrain demonstration track! Even though Motorimage calls it the ‘test track’, ‘demonstration track’ might be a better way to describe this roof top circuit. Anyone wishing to get a feel of a Subaru’s All-Wheel-Drive capabilities can request to be driven around this circuit, where sand, rocks, gravel, logs and even a small waterfall has been designed to demonstrate the vehicle’s superior traction capabilities.

Found at 19 Toa Payoh, Lorong 8 and open seven days a week from 9am to 7pm, the Subaru Hub looks like it is upping the standards across all motor vehicle dealers in Singapore.
