The new Audi A8 represents Audi’s innovation at its best. The people behind the “Vorsprung durch Technik” mantra have delivered what we believe is their best yet, in engineering, creature comforts and safety.
As an industry first, the A8 is the first production automobile in the world to have been developed for conditional automated driving. Both the V6 and V8 TFSI models will be available in Singapore with quattro all-wheel drive as standard.
As quirky as it can get, Citroen’s C4 Cactus features what they call Airbump. An innovative graphic feature to enhance the design of the car, and more importantly, helping you protect your precious car.
Their PureTech petrol engine was named “2017 Engines of the Year” in its category for the third consecutive year.
A fun and stylish compact crossover for younger drivers in-mind. With its non-conventional face, to its protective side armour plating at the fenders and colour accented interior. The Kona brings with it an element of fun, with versatility to fit one’s lifestyle needs.
Other features include wireless charging and an 8” infotainment display which stands proud on the dash.
On a greener note, the IONIQ Electric compact car is the (even) greener version of its popular fuel-sipping hybrid sibling we now see on our roads.
The familiarly-shaped EV produces no emissions, and would be such a gem to those who believe in going green. Charge timing is said to take four and a half hours on standard charging, and an 80 percent charge takes only 23 minutes.
Hyundai’s i30, when first produced, was intended to take on the iconic Volkswagen Golf. The third generation hatch prides itself on very good build quality, and styling made to attract the European market. A long nose delivers a wedge-shaped silhouette, hinting of its sporting intentions.
Did we mention sporting intentions? There is a hot i30 N variant, with beefed up handling and performance, developed with the help of one Albert Biermann, the man behind the legendary BMW M3 E46. It will be hard to say if this version will reach our shores.
But in the meantime the i30 is definitely a hatch brimming with quality and value.
Just like the first, the new Leaf is all-electric. Nissan indulges the owner with a striking new exterior, featuring some well-defined lines, including some edgy rear end styling.
A well-sorted interior features a customisable digital instrument cluster, and a floating information screen. The Leaf boasts a range of about 375Km, making this green machine practical enough for those who are seeking a change for something which drives clean.
Porsche’s highly acclaimed Panamera now comes with more space in the form of the Sport Turismo. The uniquely-styled estate-ish sports car adds another 20 litres of space for your essentials, including a large tailgate, low loading edge, increased luggage compartment volume.
Featuring one of the classiest interiors, front and rear passengers are able to enjoy the Porsche soundtrack in the best of materials and comfort.
Engines range from a turbocharged V6, a twin-turbocharged V6, including one in their new E-Hybrid, and a range topping twin-turbocharged V8
Subaru will be launching the new Outback and XV which will be equipped with EyeSight.
The new Outback will feature a facelifted front bumper and hexagonal grille which will give it a high quality and rugged look. The turbine-shaped rims are dynamically designed and light-weight which will result in better aerodynamics.
Subaru will also introduce the XV 2.0i-S equipped with EyeSight. This follows the 1.6-litre variant that was launched in July 2017.
Perhaps the shape for things to come, Volkswagen’s Arteon replaces the CC, featuring avant-garde design with dynamic proportions, including a new clamshell designed bonnet and a wide radiator grille.
On the inside, the Arteon impresses with the Active Info Display (a fully digital and configurable instrument cluster), Head-up Display, and the Discover Pro infotainment system featuring a 9.2-inch capacitive glass screen with gesture control. Area View is also available – this camera system enables a 360-degree view around the car.
The Arteon R-Line is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI engine with 280 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. It features the 4MOTION permanent all-wheel drive system, a quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG), as well as the latest generation of Dynamic Chassis Control.
