Lexus IS300h - Hybrid of the Year

Though hybrids aren’t new to the Lexus brand, it is however the first time that it has been applied to the IS. Coupled with the electric drive train is the same capable IS track developed chassis that gives the car very competent handling. But more than that, the overwhelming votes that the IS attracted is probably due to the handsome elegant design.

Volvo S60 D2 - Diesel of the Year

The most refined however has to be the S60 D2 that garnered more votes than the other two nominees combined. We loved the decent ride quality, incredible fuel economy and the excellent City Safety collision avoidance system.

Porsche Cayman - Performance car of the Year

The Cayman is the opposite. Its perfect 50:50 weight distribution makes it a very forgiving car to drive fast. From the driving position to the input controls, every aspect of this small sports car is perfect. Definitely a car that deserves its place in our Car of the Year awards.
