Orchard Credit Offers Pre-Owned Car Retail Centre With Innovative Online Deposit Service

Orchard Credit opens their new business unit, the Orchard Credit Pre-Owned car retail centre. Located at #01-02 OC Building, 1 Chang Charn Road, customers need not be in the showroom to buy a car. Instead of feeling that pressure of dropping a deposit on the spot to reserve a car, customers can now place a deposit online instead, from the comfort of their own homes or offices, only when they are prepared to commit.

OC’s Director Mr. Renny Heng, the next generation successor of the business, said, “The online deposit feature is an effortless, worry-free and unobtrusive service that clearly bridges the gap that most buyers face today.”

Hopping onto the business, is Mr William Choo, the previous Commercial Director of Lexus Singapore, who was invited by Mr Robert Heng, OC’s Chairman, to come out of retirement to assist in the expansion of his business.

“William’s strong market insights and outstanding relationships with many people in Singapore as well as his experience in managing both mass and luxury products make him a perfect candidate to partner with, especially for our fine dining and fine and rare wine business,’’ commented Mr Robert Heng. ‘’With the opening of the Orchard Credit Pre-owned car retail centre and with the business moving steadily forward, Renny Heng will assume more responsibilities of the business with Mr Choo. I am confident that their expertise will not just strengthen our diverse business units but will also take them to new heights.’’ Mr Robert Heng added.

Apart from selling quality cars and offering automotive financing services, Orchard Credit also has its hand in the F&B business, with them running the famous Michelin Starred Corner House restaurant; operating from a well-preserved historical former residence, located at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, with home-grown chef, Jason Tan at its helm.

Other restaurants include Shelter in the Woods, Sakurazaka and Verre Wine Bistro. Their more recent opening of Wine Culture, which retails rare and fine wines, also doubles as a wine storage facility.

And with a keen eye on diversification of their business, Orchard Credit has also dedicated space on one of their properties new start-ups, especially for those who support and embrace innovative digital technologies, without them worrying about rental payments.
