One thing we do know, is that mad obsession and quirks shape brands, and McLaren to us, might just have the right mix of both.
Noting that the Singapore market is relatively small, Executive Director of Global Sales and Marketing, Jolyon Nash explains to us that Singapore is quite an important market, even though in terms of absolute volume, it isn’t that big, but it is still important, because it is quite a big influencer in the Asian market.
Hence we are like influencers… kind of like those online ones? LOL!
But while McLaren is a brand which does not have an as-far-back a road car history compared to the likes of Lamborghini and Ferrari, they have earned themselves a large fan base, proven by their record growth in 2017, with a total of 3,340 cars sold.
Robert Melville, McLaren’s chief designer, believes that the principle behind their design philosophy is “Beautiful Yet Purposeful Design”. And this philosophy sits so well with their clientele.
