While there are some rich enough to buy Ferrari cars, there are others, like us mere mortals, who turn to model cars in a bid to stave off our red envy. But what if you would have a product badged with Ferrari’s trademark Cavallino Rampante (prancing horse) that is alsouseful enough for daily living?

With Logic3’s Scuderia Ferrari Collection of headphones and earphones, fans of the Italian team in red are now able to display their love of Ferrari whilst listening to their favourite tunes on the daily commute.

These music accessories are designed to ooze an old school charm with their chrome finishes, dry carbon-fibre surface with red accent flowing throughout the whole product just like the actual Ferrari Red cars. The whole look is completed with the prancing horse emblem stickered to both ear cups for an added touch of exclusiveness—it does resemble the very headphones used by the pit crews of the Ferrari Formula 1 team! But if the red of the Scuderia Collection is too ostentatious, perhaps the black coloured model or the understated Cavallino Collection would better please.

The P200 may be no small, handy pair of headphones, but its size does help to ensure a comfortable fit over one's ears without a being too constricting over the head. Wearing it when gaming; or listening to music for extended long periods of time was pure comfort with my ears left ache-free with none of the usual pressure-borne discomforts one might experience from lesser products. While the size of the headphones corresponds with its position as a premium product, the feel of hard plastics and use of stickers do not blend well with the whole aesthetic.

If headphones are not your style, or if size does not matter when it comes to mobility, the R100 earphones should do the trick. As with the P200, the earphones come in red, silver and black accented colours with the prancing horse emblem at the ends of the drivers.

Both the P200 and R100 come with very exclusive looking, carbon-fibre textured cases to house them while in transit. The P200 headphones come with three cloth encased cables, two of which are hands-free with one of them sporting volume control. There are also stereo plug and in-flight adaptors that allow the headphones to be used with the majority of stereo systems and on board airplanes for in-flight entertainment. That said, the cable plugs on the headphones do loosen up at times, so much so that sound gets lost during the most intense moments in-game or when music is enjoyed on the go.

Y-shaped cables on the R100 earphones also come equipped with ear buds of different types and sizes to ensure a comfortable fit for the wearer though U-shaped cables, like those used in Sony earphones are a personal preference.

Seemingly engineered to emphasize the heart thumping action when driving a Ferrari, the cans and earphones go heavy on the bass while retaining the ability to reproduce vocals over the low range boom—a feature which listeners of dance and techno music would appreciate.

50mm drivers with open back design and vented enclosure in the P200 ensures a good ultra bass. These drivers are controlled without having the sound breaking up, and it helps to accentuate the feeling that one is actually in the midst of live gaming action with deep explosions going off in First-Person Shooter games or the stirring purr of the engine when seated inside a virtual Ferrari car in Grand Turismo 5.

The Logic3 Scuderia Ferrari collection P200 and R100 would be the perfect accessories for Ferrari enthusiasts looking to wear their love for the marque higher up—over their ears—while tuning in to some dance music.

The Logic3 P200 headphones and R100 earphones are retailing at S$406.00 & S$252.00 respectively and can be purchased at the following places:
